Community Organizations Statement of Service Needs

Information provided by your organization will be entered into a CBLFS database to create the community’s first comprehensive catalog of community service needs. This Catalog of Community Service Needs will be distributed to DC metro area businesses for consideration in developing their annual community service programs. CBLFS will work with these businesses to match their volunteers with community needs. The Catalog of Community Service Needs will also have wide distribution among community leaders and elected officials. The kickoff of the 2010 year of service will be held on January 14^th, 2010. Remember for 2010, we are limiting our catalog to three primary need areas: 1) schools, 2) neighborhood infrastructure, and 3) poverty. In future years we hope to expand to other areas.
